Five outcomes across 53 positions

Frequencies are calculated as positions ÷ 53. Rounding can prevent the displayed percentages from summing to exactly 100%.

Each image identifies a result category, not a universal multiplier. A leaf can carry a boost, and a fish result moves to the corresponding bonus. This is why the history shows both the picture and a separate multiplier.

Leaf 1 and Leaf 2: two separate selections

The leaves occupy 46 of the 53 positions together, but each leaf is its own bet spot. Betting on Leaf 1 does not also cover Leaf 2. If you cover both, count both stakes when calculating your total exposure.

There are 23 positions for each leaf, so each has a theoretical share of about 43.40%. Those equal counts do not force equal observed totals in a short sample. One may appear more frequently than the other over a selected session.

The leaf images in the feed retain their distinct dark and light appearance so that a run is readable without relying only on text labels. The labels remain available for accessibility and for readers who cannot distinguish the colours.

Four wheel positions make the blue fish the most frequent individual bonus type.

Big Oranges fish symbol

Big Oranges

Two positions on the wheel lead into the orange bonus and its larger base range.

Huge Reds fish symbol

Huge Reds

A single red position opens the rarest bonus. A long gap is possible even in normal play.

1 of 53 segments · 1.89% wheel frequency

Lil’ Blues occupies twice as many wheel positions as Big Oranges and four times as many as Huge Reds. This comparison concerns the trigger frequency, not the value of a catch once the bonus is reached.

Frequency and bonus size should therefore be read together. A rarer type can have a larger base range while still producing long sequences without a hit. A large symbol or a dramatic reveal is not a higher probability of appearing on the next spin.

What a number next to a symbol means

A pre-spin multiplier is an extra condition applied before the wheel result. It should not be confused with the final multiplier recorded after a bonus. If a tracker displays only one multiplier field, it may not provide enough information to reconstruct every intermediate step.

For that reason, our public feed does not invent badges for “bonus multiplier matched” when the source record lacks the relevant fields. A fish image, a final reported multiplier and a timestamp are displayed only when those data are actually present.

Open the bonus guide for an explanation of how boosts affect the bonus range. For completed records with these images, use Latest Spins.

How to tell the two leaves apart

Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 are separate selections, despite having the same number of wheel positions and the same published RTP. The captured interface uses light and dark leaf designs. Third-party graphics may use different backgrounds or crops, so match the written outcome name whenever you move between the table and a tracker.

Each leaf covers 23 segments out of 53. Together they account for 46 positions, about 86.79% of the wheel. That combined share only describes where the wheel lands. It does not give a single leaf bet an 86.79% hit rate, and it does not mean a two-leaf combination earns money on every leaf result.

For an ordinary 1:1 leaf payout, equal bets on both leaves offset each other when one leaf wins: the winning selection covers the losing one. A fish loses both. Boosted leaf segments add another part to the game’s return, so counting only ordinary leaf hits does not reproduce the published theoretical RTP.

When inspecting a short history, separate a run of one leaf from a run of either leaf. Ten consecutive non-bonus outcomes can contain both leaf types. The first statistic describes one target; the second describes the absence of all three fish. Their probabilities and meanings are different.

Fish names, trigger frequency and waiting intervals

The blue fish has four wheel positions, orange has two and red has one. On the fixed wheel model, blue is therefore four times as likely to trigger as red on a spin. The size of the fish image does not encode its probability or indicate which individual fish value will be caught.

BonusWheel probabilityExpected spins per occurrenceBase fish values
Lil’ Blues4/53 ≈ 7.55%13.253x–100x
Big Oranges2/53 ≈ 3.77%26.54x–200x
Huge Reds1/53 ≈ 1.89%5310x–500x
Any fish7/53 ≈ 13.21%About 7.57Depends on the selected family

These intervals are mathematical averages over repeated independent spins, calculated as one divided by the landing probability. They are not countdowns. A red result can follow another red immediately, or the wait can greatly exceed 53 spins. The probability of no red across 53 independent spins is (52/53)53, about 36.4%, so a wait of that size is not extraordinary evidence of a fault.

The frequency charts compare the recorded sample with these wheel shares. A missing red in a small sample is possible; it does not justify replacing its theoretical frequency with zero or describing it as overdue to pay. Longer samples improve the description of the history but still do not change the next-spin wheel composition.

Three kinds of number you can see near a symbol

A multiplier badge on the wheel is an assigned boost. A value attached to a fish in the bonus scene is part of that bonus’s value display. A completed result in a tracker is the number reported after the round. Similar typography can make these look interchangeable even though they belong to different stages.

For a bonus family that receives a boost, all of that family’s wheel segments share it. If the wheel triggers the family, the bonus fish values are increased before the catch. For a leaf boost, the exact boosted segment matters. A 4x label on one leaf position does not establish a 4x return from any position carrying the same leaf icon.

A tracker that only supplies result, multiplier and timestamp cannot show which intermediate boost was selected unless that information is also present in the source. We therefore use the fish icon as an outcome label and keep the final reported multiplier beside it. We do not infer a “boost matched” badge simply because a number is large.

To see the distinction in context, open the bonus explanation and then compare it with completed Ice Fishing results. The game description explains the sequence; the record describes one outcome from that sequence.

Wilds, scatters, paylines and free spins: are they in this game?

Those terms belong to many reel slots, but they do not describe the five selections in Evolution’s Ice Fishing. The wheel does not require three matching fish, a left-to-right payline or a scatter count. One selected fish segment triggers its matching feature for bets that covered that family.

The presenter is part of the live presentation, not a wild symbol substituting for other icons. Leaf images are betting outcomes, not low-paying playing-card symbols. There is no A–K–Q–J–10 paytable to memorise, and a larger group of fish shown in the water is not a reel combination.

All Bonuses is a betting shortcut, not a sixth type of wheel segment. It allocates the chosen stake to each fish spot. In the captured interface it has its own button, which can make it look like another outcome until you inspect the total wager.

If a guide describes an Ice Fishing title using collectors, expanding wilds or a free-spin reel mode, first check the developer and exact game name. Similarly named fishing games can have completely different mechanics. The main Ice Fishing guide identifies the Evolution game covered by these pages.

A five-point paytable check

  1. Read the target. Confirm whether the rule belongs to Leaf 1, Leaf 2 or a particular fish family.
  2. Read the notation. Odds such as 1:1 and total-return multipliers such as 10x need different interpretation.
  3. Check the qualifying stake. A multiplier applies to the successful bet, not automatically to all money placed in the round.
  4. Check the limit. A maximum payout can constrain a calculated amount, especially at high stakes.
  5. Check the final settlement. Personal game history resolves what was accepted and credited; a public icon does not.

Keep these checks together when comparing screenshots from different currencies. The supplied captures show a “kr” interface, while the reviewed EUR rules provide a different currency example. Neither fixes the stake or payout limit for every reader worldwide.

A few useful answers

Ice Fishing questions, answered

How many Huge Reds segments are there?

One of the 53 wheel positions. Its theoretical landing share is 1 ÷ 53, approximately 1.89%.

Are the two leaves the same bet?

No. They are distinct outcomes with separate bet spots, even though each occupies 23 wheel positions.

Does a fish colour tell me the final multiplier?

It identifies the bonus type. The final reported multiplier is a separate value and can be affected by the bonus outcome and any applicable boost.

Why do the images look different across trackers?

Trackers can use different crops or asset versions. Match the result name as well as the picture when comparing records.

Does Ice Fishing have wilds or scatters?

No. This Evolution title uses a wheel with two leaf outcomes and three fish families. Reel paylines, wild substitutions and scatter-triggered free spins are not part of these rules.

Is All Bonuses another wheel symbol?

No. It places the selected stake on each of the three bonus spots. For example, a 10-unit selection costs 30 units across blue, orange and red.

What does 1:1 mean on a leaf bet?

On an ordinary successful leaf bet, winnings equal the qualifying stake and the stake is also returned. A ten-unit selection therefore returns twenty units in total. Read boosted values according to the table’s payout convention.
